Business Operations
themoveo provides a flat-subscription technology platform matching passengers with transport drivers and consumers with local food vendors. All services operate exclusively within Sri Lanka and are governed by local regulatory frameworks.
User Eligibility
Users must be 18 years or older to register an account or process payments via PayHere. By accessing themoveo, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and all other eligibility criteria set forth in these Terms & Conditions.
Flat Subscription Model
Food vendors and transport drivers operate on a flat monthly subscription basis. Riders and consumers pay no hidden platform commission fees on standard fares or orders. All subscription-based pricing is displayed transparently at the point of sale. The flat subscription model ensures that partners retain 100% of customer-paid fares, with themoveo earning revenue only from partner subscriptions, never from transaction commissions.
Merchant Responsibilities
Food quality, accuracy, packaging, and food safety are the sole responsibility of the fulfilling partner merchant. themoveo does not prepare, store, or handle food items. Driver compliance, vehicle maintenance, adherence to traffic laws, and transport safety rest with the respective independent transport provider. themoveo facilitates the matching of parties but does not supervise day-to-day operations.
Payment Terms
All online card transactions are securely handled via PayHere Payment Gateway in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR). Payment authorization, settlement, and reconciliation follow PayHere's standard protocols. Invoices and transaction receipts are issued via the themoveo app within 24 hours of successful payment.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
